My training philosophy... fun, hard work, and success!

My name is Maggie Ayre (BA Hons).  I was a member of the British Sailing Team at both youth and senior level for over ten years.  I am passionate about fitness and helping people achieve their personal best. 

I have two young children and know just how difficult it is to regain fitness after a break; I have a special interest in helping people return to fitness whether the break was due to injury, illness or some other reason.  In addition to this I know how difficult it is to fit exercise into our busy lives.  My programmes are about long term, realistic, maintainable lifestyle changes that incorporate fitness into your life in a regular, manageable way. 

It is not about quick fixes and crash diets which ultimately fail.

I firmly believe that it is never too late to become more active and that every one can benefit from the increased energy, self-confidence and self-esteem fitness provides. 

It is important to me that my clients have fun and enjoy their sessions but I also want them to achieve their goals.  I believe in motivating and encouraging people without intimidating them.

Fitness to me is all about achieving that little bit extra and programmes will be structured to ensure improvements continue to be made with routines developed to meet personal needs.  I use all the latest equipment to ensure routines are varied. 

There are thousands of exercises out there, if there is something you don’t like we need never do it!

The most important factor in your success is recognising that it is a two-way commitment; your input is as critical as mine. You have to really want this and be prepared to work hard to get the results you want - it's not easy and there are no cutting corners, but it is very satisfying when your goals are achieved. If we set realistic targets for you and take it one step at a time, you will enjoy it and you'll never look back.
